    Pin sizes need help

Hi. Lately i have gone from using 23g 1 1/4 pins to using 25 1 inch. This is because i can no longer get that size and i have also gone from 2.5ml syringe to 5ml. I did find it easy with the 23g but i cannot seem to push the juice out smoothly with the 25s? Is this down to the smaller size of the needle or isit just the size on the syringe is forcing more air to be pushed? Thanks guys.

    25g is a thinner needle.

I always draw with a 22g, and inject with a 25g.......sometimes the oil/suspension can be a little thick, so a bit more pressure might have to be applied

i inject in my quads sorry should of mentioned that before. I thought it was just due to the needle size but when i was getting rid of the air in the syringe before injecting, i found it real hard to push up so im not sure if its the size of the syringe?? Yeh im from the UK m8.

Do you guys use separate syringes for each injection? Or only replace the needles?

seperate injections seperate syringes becos they are on different days. So does anybody know if its the syringe being 5ml or the needle cos it is too small at 25g to push out? It is coming out but with a lot of push and its real slow. I am only using prop aswell so when i use thicker oil its gonna be a bitchh.

    Replace syringe and needle.

I use 25g to draw and inject and yes its slow but its smooth as butter.

Taking that little bit longer to inject can be a good thing.. as it doesn't stress the muscle to quickly with a lot of fluid in one spot.

Try heating ya gear in warm water just b4 injecting.

But i am talking about pushing as hard as i possibly can for a couple minutes lol. Do you think the syringe has anything to do with it or just the size of the needle?

i have had that happen a couple of times, i just pulled the dart out, changed to a steril pin, and reinjected in a different area......worked for me....

What you mean by a steril pin? I dont wanna have to take the dart back out everytime though once its in that should be it lol. Ill probly just get 22 or 23g pins see how those work.

It would be down to the needle rather than syringe.

Might also be that if your using prop and only injecting quads...

You need more sites for frequent jabs otherwise scar tissue will be building up and might be making it harder.

Yehh thats what i would think but when i was pushing the air bubbles out of the syringe getting ready to inject, it felt really tough to push the air out so not sure if i just have crappy syringes maybe. Thanks anyways!

i dont know how you could use a 25g needle thatd be so thin id be afraid of it breaking and be hard to push out the oil. i worry about that even with 22g but i actually prefer 18g i like the feel and the oil draws and comes out nice and easy

It's just because of the small needle size.
    I shoot glutes with a 23g 1 1/2....and quads with a 1" 25g.
Sometimes when I do quads...the needle starts to want to slide back out...I'm not sure why...but i push it back in an continue as normal.

I would use a 21 to 23 gauge 1.5" for vastus and glute shots, its important to get the substance deep into the muscle not superficial.
