Don't bother taking it prior to breakfast.
NADH is essentially worthless in the absence of usable glucose, which is what you're intentionally restricting with pre-breakfast/fasting state cardio.
------------------
NADH is the reduced form of coenzyme #1, or C1. It's called #1 because it ranks in importance above all other coenzymes in the body. When C1 gets oxidized in a cell, energy is released and made available, but for the oxidation process to take place (in the mitochondria) the other ingredients need to be available in good supply.
Although each NADH creates a lot of energy, relative to its size (one NADH ignites enough glucose fuel to create 3 units of ATP energy), it has to be combined with both oxygen and the aforementioned largely absent glucose, making it a "true supplement" much like a vitamin or mineral.
