    Canadian Armed Forces

    So i just got finished filling out an application for infantry. I got to talking with someone that i dont know that well so im not sure if the information is credible & he said they do a drug test that looks for narcotics & steroids . I dont do drugs but am wondering if anyone knows if they do test for steroids? Seems silly to me but who knows.

    I spent 2 years in the CF. They don't test for steroids .

    They list a bunch of substances you're not supposed to take and one of them is anabolic steroids, but they don't test for it. So just shut up and don't say anything. I knew a ton of people when I was in who were juicing. One guy in my regiment admitted it to everyone (even the officers) and everyone nicknamed him 'Juice'. They didn't test him for it or boot him out.

    That must have been nice then, that probably wasn't a good policy telling everybody. If he'd been in the US, most likely he'd been testifying before congress or sumthing to that nature
