    Spinal Nerve?

I heard from my friend that if you inject into the glut that theres a chance you can hit a nerve that will put you in a coma or something. Some nerve connected to your spine. Is this true? Please fill me in.

it's called your sciatic nerve, it runs deep in the tissue down the back of your leg, look it up on google and you'll get a good picture of where it is, it controls function of your leg, if you hit it you won't go into a coma more than likely, but you could numb your legs or paralyze them, though this is very unlikely if you inject correctly, to tell you the truth, it would take skill to hit that nerve on purpose, much less by accident, but shvt happens you read up on injecting before you do it

EASILY avoidable if you do your homework.

    LOL-
This made me smile.. Having battled sciatic issues with Doc administered trigger point therapy, I can tell ya that you will not likely hit the nerve unless ya got a long needle and shoot high (that would be real dumb) and are very very unlucky.

When in doubt hit the quad.
If you are afraid of this unlikely event- hit the quad.
Oh yeah, it is easier to hit the quad.

    Good luck ;-)

What do you mean by shooting high? I always shoot in the upper left and upper right quadrants, depending on which side obviously

Don't worry you won't hit it with a 2" pin, unless you weigh 8 stone.
    High and wide.
