Do you need to refrigerate fina pellets?

I know the maker says to do this. I heard that the reason to keep it refrigerated was to keep the pellets softer so as to not mess up absobtion in the heifers ear. My question is if you just keep it at a controlled room temperature will the TA degrade? If so, anyone know how long it would be good for? Thanks.

It has the expiration date stamped on the cart although I'm sure it would last longer than that date. To make life easier why don't you just convert it now and then you'll have a product that doesn't expire for a year. JMHO

they are only sent with cold packs because it can get extremely hot in the shipping vans and what not.

Inside a normal house with normal temps you wont have any problems with pellets melting. mine have never came close and i never refridgerate them

the reason they say to refridgerate is so they dont warp.if they warp they wont work in the gun that is used to shoot into your cattle
