Injection questions...

If you don't inject deep enough...did you basically waste an injection? I mean obviously it has to be shot IM, but what happens to the oil if you didn't go deep enough?

I read somewhere on here that a guy developed a lump underneath his skin on his glute from not using a long enough needle, and that the site becomes very sore. I'm sure this question is alittle elementary, but I am just curious, I always use 1 1/2 inch needles so I've never run into this problem.

no as long as its injected into the muscle it aint a waste but not injecting deep enough can cause serious swelling and discomfort

Yup. And an abcess is always possible.

I didnt inject deep into my delt one time and it looked like a tumor on my delt. People could see it through my shirt. Went away in 2 days

So would you say that you didn't absorb the steroids from that shot, what happens to the oil?? DOes your body just get rid of it somehow or is it still absorbed?
