Swollen ankles
Hey all,
I'm in week 7, taking 500mg test cyp/wk and the last two weeks or so I've noticed my ankles swelling a bit. The swelling goes down at night, but during the day when I'm up & around it occurs again. I take 1mg anastrozole EOD, and thought this should handle any water retention, but apparently not. I'm thinking about cutting the cycle short, and starting the PCT. Anyone run into this before?

i use armidex at .25mg ED and still see a lil water. My hands get puffy though. Remember your pumps in your calves from walking around might be contributing.

What is your age, weight, height?
Swelling in the extremities could be the cause of a much bigger problem due to poor circulation or the beggining of cardiovascular disease. On the other hand, it could just be some extra retention going on due to the test. I would check my blood pressure and get looked at by the doc.

Had the same problem. I was doing 50mg of D-Bol a day though. When I took that out at about 4 weeks I lost most of the water. Juice will almost always add water. Do a little research and find out which one will add the least amount.

Oops, probably should have included that up front. I'm 40, 6' and currently at 270lb. I had a good 20-25lb to lose before starting, and have been good during the week with keeping a clean diet, but am going to hit the cardio once the bulking phase is done (might be sooner than I planned). I've made good gains, and now need to slim down. I've never had any issues with hypertension or cardiovascular disease so I'm attributing the swelling to the test - I just assumed the anastrozole would handle any water retention. I had the same thing happen last cycle, although not as pronounced, but when I went off I dropped 5-10lbs from water weight alone.

Thanks Deen.
j/k
I have my morning coffee pretty much every day, but spywizard's comment on salt intake makes sense. I've been watching my dietary fat content and haven't really been watching the sodium. Gotta drink more water too I suppose...
