Hey, I'm male, 18.
So 4 months ago I had my hormone levels tested. My estrogen level was quite high and testosterone was quite low, but still normal.
My doctor thought this would go in balance by itself and just told me to take some vitamins. So I did. After 2 months I had tests done again. Estrogen was even higher and testosterone even lower. Then I had 1 month of Nolvadex.
Now I'm going to have hormones tested again in a few days. I really hope they are in balance, otherwize it is something really wrong going on with me.
I wonder if my estrogen will turn out to still be too high then how will this problem be treated? Lifetime Arimidex?
I read about something called Aromatase Excess Syndrome, your body produces too much aromatase enzyme. Men who had this also had gynecomastia and even before puberty. I myself have never had gynecomastia.
I really hope my hormone levels will be normal now as I wouldn't like to use an aromatase inhibitor forever.
