i would heat it, it will absorb easier and won't hurt as bad, but no the thickness won't matter

prolly made with Eo, ethyl oleate, it is very thick and warming will help a bit and will have no effect on the compund itself...just pull your required amount into the syringe run some hot water and run the syringe under the running water...just keep the cap on the pin....
