Hardly any weight gain ?
Before my cycle of Test E at 500mg a week for 10 weeks, and dbol 30mg a day for 4 weeks. i had gotten my weight up to 198 . the highest ive reached during the cycle was 208 and now 2 weeks after im down to 203 . so all together ive gained 5 pounds does this sound correct ? ..i did notice an extreme increase of strength , all my lifts went up and i did notice as well a a others in a major increase of size in my chest and arms and my legs...so whats the deal? why only 5 pounds.....im currently 5"9 203

diet or bunk/underdosed gear are the culprit.

Break down your diet....what did you get your protein from? how much per day?

I never really calculated how much exact protein i was getting , i assumed i was getting enough from all the shakes ,eggs, stakes and chicken i was eating .

charbs from the oatmeal, pasta, potatoes, and shakes no ?

I think you need to eat smaller meals and spread them out over say 7-8 meals. You also need to balance your fats and carbs throughout the day. Where are your essential fats ?
Diet is key for any goal and i think you need more work. Don't get discouraged just go study up more.

you should break down exactly to the exact gram and calorie. It's hard to say if it was a lack of carbs without exact portion sizes etc.

I personally eat later in the day a big meal with carbs but I also workout in the evenings.

You need to research your diet better. It's more than just carbs missing. Your body also needs fat and fiber to regulate better.
This also may be petty to you, but you are going to bed late. You are eating at midnight so I am assuming you are still up at this time. For every hr you are awake after midnight, it takes your 2hrs of sleep to catch up. Your body needs sleep to grow.

I go to bed usually 12:30-1 just because of my work schedule. I get 8 hours and have no problems with that. I have some similar things in my diet, but I also take BCAA and glutamine caps, vits and glutamine powder with shakes.

So how important is diet , when on a cycle or off a cycle ? compared to excercise , and sleep.

How many calories should intake at 203 pounds to get bigger ?

Don't compare yourself with a High level BB'er. Learn to listen to your body. If you think you should be growing more and you know your gear is good, then you first instinct is to look at diet(80% of growth, imo) and then sleep. Body is a great machine when it can fire on all cylinders.
You are do it right, by asking questions, listening with concern and putting it to correct use.

Diet is EVERYTHING. It doesn't matter if you are on a cycle or not.
Check this out to est your calories :

Your going to want to get your BF% check as well (most gyms do it for free.) Hopefully they at least use calipers.

Redz...I read some sleep studies on it( I will try to find them) and it has to do with the bodies internal clock. Personnally I think it has to do with, how long your day is, no matter what time you go to sleep.
Freak....What was your bf% when you started your cycle and now what is it?
-
06-07-2008, 09:48 AM #36
it was 13% and now its about 15%

On a side note, the scale can be deceiving. Don't let the numbers be your only measure of judgement; look for overall changes in physique.
