bloating/water retention...

morning people...

so i am goin on my 7th week of test prop and deca. the gains have been good so far but im noticing some water retention. my question is...is it normal to feel and look kinda bloated in the abdominal area? i can tell im holding more water cause i look and got bigger but im not as cut. my stomachs not fat, you can still see my abs but just looks more full. like i just ate. is this part of water retention?

is there anything that can combat this? i rember reading something on this board about arimidex or sumthing like that that will help with this. any advice would be appreciated. thanks!

yes thats normal with deca. Adex works pretty good. I'd give that a try.

i never notice water retention in my stomach just face shoulders and chest. and maybe upper back.

yah common. as test levels go up so do estrogen levels. high estrogen brings on water retention. only thing you can do is run an AI - an over the counter one that actually works is 6 oxo. I personally like it better than letro.

thanks for all the info. so someone suggested adex. im guessing arimidex? i think i may try that and definitelly start drinking a lot more water. any idea on dosage for the arimidex? and do i take it all the way through the 10 wks of deca? thakns again!

you should take it when you see signs of bloating or gyno. Which your obviously seeing. Arimidex is pretty strong, as with anything start low, see if that doesn't work then up the dosage. Start out at .25mgs eod, then ed, then .5mgs ed.
