long term use of SERM or AI for test boost?

I came off a cycle a little while ago, pct is bascially over. Everything went fine, i kept a lot of mass and regained natural hormonal functions. But i started to shed hair on that last cycle, so im taking propecia now, and plan to stay on it for a long time. I have a tiny bit of gyno and dont want to aggravate it by having low DHT levels. So im thinking that i may stay on one SERM or AI for as long as i take the propecia. Also, this doubles up as a way to keep the dry look and boost my test levels above normal.

So my question is, what would be the safest compound to stay on long term, to boost my natural test production, and to prevent gyno from the propecia (finasteride)? Should i go for Nolvadex, or a-dex, or even letro (low dose, makes it most cost effective option)?

Id love to hear some responses, but please include some sort of reasoning behind any suggestions... thanks

i think letro is way too intense for a long term deal. it might help the gyno if you use it for a little bit

the gyno is no big deal, its probably less than a lot of people have without ever touching steroids. Im not too worried about getting ridda it, but i def. do not want it to progress any further. I hear nolva is good for blood lipid levels and whatnot, but bad for GH and IGF levels?

i have no exp with any of this at all, but from reading i would guess that the arimdex would be the better choice for a long period of time. but you might wanna wait for a second opinion

what was your cycle? any 19nors like deca or tren?

all those drugs are way too harsh to use long term unless you are trying to fight cancer. NO JOKE. Nolva, just for example, can cause liver cancer (and damage obviously), strokes, heart attacts, DVTs (so it would follow), cataracts, pulmonary embolisms, hypo/hyperthyroidism, permanently f**ked up hypothalamic function, impotence, and on and on. Not only that, anti-Es are very bad for hair growth because the test:estrogen ratio in hair is important. Look up any anti-E and "hair loss" and read the sob stories.

Long term use is a no go for sure bro. I'm not just paranoid either, i had horrible sides from just a couple months of anti-Es myself.

it seems anastrozole (adex) may be the best choice, from what ive been reading

so if my DHT level are low because of finasteride used to treat alopecia, which in turn raises my test and estrogen levels, and eventually causes gyno, i am a moron for trying to treat it? Ive had no side effect from any AI, and from SERMs the worst that has happened was a little moodiness. You're over hyping the side effects i would have to say.

I finished my pct after a cycle a few weeks ago and had a bit of a-dex left over. ive been running it at .25 mg ed since to keep bloat down and increase natty test levels a bit as well and i think its been very effective. just went to the doc and everything was normal. test levels were slightly above what they were pre-cycle, estrogen was a little less than normal but still in the safe range, and liver and kidneys were perfect after about 9 strait weeks on a-dex.

actually, i didnt read your post, just your thread title. 'didnt know you were on finasteride. People on fina or dutast use low doeses of adex for just that reason. I still think you're gonna encounter sides but it makes sense that you would do it, cuz what other choice do you have? Sucks to have to choose between hair or tits...

dudes get the idea they can just pop some pills for as long as they want for a little extra test and nothing will happen. I thought you were one of 'em. My bad, just didnt read enough.

yes, it dose suck to choose between hair or tits. The Proviron really wrecked havoc on my hair, i thought i wasnt going to bald since i never shed on my previous cycles.

Oneshot, do you have the numbers for your levels on hand? What were your test levels before, and after, and is the difference significant? Same for estro. If not, thanks for the help anyway
