Thread: we have a bleeder!

    we have a bleeder!

i have injected steroids about.. 40 times before (not 40 cycles.. 40 injections) most of them due to winny (ouch) i have never had bruising when injecting to my glute or more than an incredibly minimal amount of bleeding... i used to pull back on the plunger to check and i got lazy.

i injected possibly a bit high and left on the left glute. i had bleeding that could by one absorbed by one gauze but i still wonder it also bruised some (never had that, yeah i realize i am probably just being a girl)

I wouldnt be worried about it. Just be more careful and always aspirate to make sure. I have bleed before from my quad but I aspirated and found blood so I pulled out and blood shot out and left a bruise and I was fine. Dont worry about it.

i THINK that i passed through one and ended in muscle just because of the texture i went through in the last quarter inch also thank you very much... PS what happens if i shot into a spot that bleeds when aspirated, just curious

you put a bolus of that steroid into your bloodstream. depending what it is you'll get nausea, lightheaded and the sweats. Short term sides. It will go away.

Any type of injection has the potential to bleed. If you don't hold pressure on it tightly after you pull the needle out it can bleed and bleed. Happens all the time when nurses around here don't hold tight enough after any injection. Nice pressure for about 30 seconds usually prevents any bleeding.
