    Need assistance

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advise on my first cycle.

I'm 30 years old, 5'10" 155lbs - 160 lbs with 6% body fat. I'm very fit and athletic and train mostly core for wrestling and MMA purposes. My body is muscular but long and lean, I normally compete at 145lbs. I'm looking to put on no more than 10 lbs of muscle and keep it, with the intent of cutting naturally to my competition weight. I'm not looking to BULK up per say or even put on a bunch of weight, I just want to JACK my strength and muscle endurance.

I was told Winnie at one time but in doing some research it looks like the experts here would advise against it as Winnie may hinder my sport's demands. (speed/explosive power).

I've never done a cycle before, what do the experts suggest?

    Thanks,
    Riddler

With proper diet and training you could easily meet your goals naturally.

research on test prop and equipose that should give you somewhere to start

props at a low dose and eq will help with stamina and add some muscle as well but do some more homework and then come back with a plan so we can see if you are on the right track

and what big said diet and training

although i'd usually agree, with mma/wrestling workouts its very hard to put on serious muscle. since its heavily focused on endurance and quickness, its hard to put on a lot of size with high reps. diet is worth looking into, but if you're 30 and only 6% bf you must know what you're doing

    Thanks Big,
Ive been as heavy as 175lbs but i just didn't like the way i felt, too slow and sluggish. I have rolled and fought guys cycling who were my weight and the strength difference is huge. I guess I'm looking for the functional strength of 180lber at 165lbs before my weight cut to fight.

dude ive trained mma for years. i fought last year thats the last one tho. but you no as i do lost of cardio in those work outs. so in order to gain weight your gonna have to eat and i mean eat. lots of calories clean ones tho. thats just to sustain and also possibly gain depending how hard you work out.

Thanks guys, appreciated. I'll look into it but I will come back to you guys before any final decisions are made.

My dieting is good and I have a PRO personal trainer who kicks my ass 3 days a week with major core/explosive/speed building workouts plus my actual fight training, running and lifting so I can usually keep my body fat down quite low. Most of what I cut to 145 is water and I can normally put 10-15 lbs of that water back on over night after the weigh-ins.

Just to reiterate, I'm only looking to jack my strength and muscle endurance while only putting on 6-10 lbs.

low dose of test prop(to minimize water) or low dose of a long ester along with an AI with eq for endurance and alittle added lean mass gains would be good combo... i know how it was when i used to kick box puttin on weight is prolly the hardest thing to do even with a ridiculous diet so just a suggestion

1975, definitely the cardio is sick thats why I dont expect to put on a lot of weight nor do I want to, otherwise my cut becomes too much.

I just thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone had any suggestions on a cycle for my type of training/sport.

a few times this year i was cutting up to 18 pounds for wrestling.. the downside is that you don't get the full day before the match, so you're already drained when you get out there. and all that cutting is very catabolic so you definitely lose some muscle after a while.

Ya I cut a lot differently when i have to compete on the same day as the weigh in as opposed to MMA when its the next day, otherwise I'm just too tired.

Ive read some of the stuff on Var and that looks like what I'm looking for.

For someone who has never done it, what do you suggest for a cycle? Mgs per day?

How long would you recommend I go one for and would I maintain the same mg dosage through out that time? say 80 mgs/day for 6 weeks? Is a PCT required?

read the profile, it helps. dosage is up to you. maybe week 1 at 40, just to get a feel, then move up to 60 or 80 even. or just start at 60 or 80 if you want..

you can run it anywhere from 4-8+ weeks. 8 weeks @ 80 mgs ed would be pretty solid. with a small pct probably.
