    thyroid test? when to do it after stoping t3?

    how long to wait to do a blood test after stoping the t3 to check if i didnt screw up my thyroid??
    i have some pain in my neck and its scaring me to death

    Not sure about that. I have read that it takes a month or more for thyroid to go back to normal. Thats why you taper the T3. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

    yeah i tapered....and i was rading that this sore throat is common with t3 use...so i dunno ....am still worried

    It's not going to screw your thyroid up in any permanent way. Just suppresses function for awhile. If you want to see how much you've been suppressed, wait a week and check Free T4. Usually the doctor is giving you thyroid hormone because you already have a problem with production anyway, but if this is for weight loss, it's a different story. TSH takes longer to return to baseline.

    Usually a sore throat is nothing to get all worried about in this situation..

    i noticed when drinking a lot of water it goes away...its like i have some food stuck in my neck.....anyways yeah i took it for weight loss..... i am gona stop in completely in 4days and start taking lipo6 coz it contains guggulsterones (supposed to boost the thyroid).
