    fedex question

I had a friend send me a personal package, he sent it fedex instead of usps like I had asked him to do. I got the tracking number the other day and it is supposed to arrive tommorrow, but the problem is the tracking hasn't been updated in 4 days. I'm paranoid to say the least. Do they sometimes not update their tracking or should I be worried. Thanks

it wasnt international was it. fedex would never open a domestic package unless it was so severly damaged it would have to be repacked.

    i wouldnt worry about it

I hear ya, I have had the same thing happen with USPS. Just haven't dealt with fedex that much. It was sent domestic and pretty much a coast to coast delivery. I guess we will see tommorrow. I am just paranoid by nature!

Negative, it was domestic. That does make me feel better. I am just worried because they haven't updated the tracking in a few days.

Not true bro...fedex has their own security dept....and they are randomly screening packs with x-ray machine...to be on the safe side clean house and do not sign for anything.

The way I was looking at it, was that it would have gone through at least one scan in 4 days unless something had happened. I thought that fedex and ups were pretty up to date on their tracking sites, so I am a little worried.

I repeatedly told him to send it USPS or don't send it at all. It is just a personal use pak, is there any chance it will just be seized or am I looking at the fuzz stopping by?

I recently had a package sent from west coast to east cost fed ex. It showed on the site 'fedex notified of package for shipment' or something like that. It showed that same thing for like 4 days, maybe 5. Then the next thing it shows package delivered.

So I wouldn't worry about it. This was a cpl weeks ago.

Good point bro. Also, just checked the tracking and it arrived in the city closest to me today. So I am gonna ride it out. I feel a little better about it now.

For future reference, go ups. As long as they get your $ they couldn't care less. Used to work there.

This is not true.....I worked for Fedex for a bit in the shipping and receiving.....and they will do random searches, and drug dogs.......even on domestic pakages......
