Injection Lump

I'm not sure if this is in the right place, if not lemme know and i'll repost it in the right place. Anyway I got a lump on my left glute from my last injection. I'm currently running 250mgs of test e thru a 23Gx1.5." It usually take me about 30-60secs to puncture the skin after that i'm good. This time it just wouldn't happen. I moved the needle 3 times. After awhile i got frustrated and added a lil pressure and got it in. After it was in there was no unusual pain at all. When i took the needle out i noticed i was bleeding alot more than normal. So much so that is was running down my leg. Anyway that was Monday, tomorrow is injection day again and i'll be using the other glute obviously. But i'm wondering if maybe i punctured the muscle or i hit a vein? Oh now its swollen to about the size of a quarter and it slightly red. I'm pretty sure it wasn't contanminate as i'm pretty careful with that.

Also can you recommend some cream or onitment to put on there to make it heal faster. Thanks for any help guys.

You may have went threw a vein, more blood would come from the injection site than normal. If the lump doesn't go away with a week and a half to two weeks, then go see a doctor. If it goes away in less then a week and a half, you are good.

As far as a cream or ointment, don't know. I have one right now, and I just let it go, rub it every now and then.

Ya its just to the point where its annoying but not that bad ya know. Theres gotta be something to reduce the swelling.

coupla things have to be cleared up before i can really give you a hand..

1. why did it take you 30 to 60 sec to puncture the skin??
2. are you injecting in the same place every time??

If you asperated like you should have, then chances are that you went through a vein and into muscle fiber.. thats no big deal, but you'll have that lump there for a minute (it should start changing color like a bruse)

if you are injecting in the same place all the time, thats a big no no...

you can try injecting into your quad at a medial point. in other words a little to the left of just above the middle of your thigh.. this is where i inject and i do eod shots..
btw if you do decide to inject there, dont push the whole needle into your thigh, just one inch is sufficient, seeing as how your using a 1.5.

I am not sure, Phate had an idea that I have not tried, nor did he claim it would work. But he asked about B-12 to help. Maybe try injectable B-12, outside that... not sure..... ice pack?

It takes me that long because i go real slow so its not that painful and so i don't puncture something, kinda like what i just did. I change injection sites between my glutes every time. I tried my quad and failed miserably. I tried in the middle a lil off to the left. My needle was in about .5-.75" and it hurt pretty good so i just took it out. There was no swelling or discoloration from this attempt.

going real slow gives you a greater chance of having that needle move in a circular and side to side motion, which really jacks you up. it should be a 2 to 3 second swish...

i do this shit for a living, just my 2 cents man..

btw discoloration might take a couple of days, or u just might have gotten away clean..

No its turning red now, i'm guess next its blue. I would try the 2-3 secs tomorrow but its my last glute, lol.

if i were in your situation, id experiment a little bit with other places..

dont forget virgin muscle will always be uncomfortable after its first shot
