No spleen

I am interested in doing hgh but due to previous accident i have no spleen.
Will hgh or other steriods be safe due to no spleen?

I doubt very seriously that anyone on this board would be qualified to answer that. Little research is available regarding the effects of anabolic steroids for even fairly common conditions let alone less common situations like post-splenectomy patients such as you. Any answer would be based upon conjecture.

Having said all that, the only problem of which I am aware with having no spleen is that you are more susceptible to certain bacterial infections, which is why you've probably been asked to have a strep. pneumo vaccination. Getting routing IM injections I suppose could put you at higher risk than the average person. but this is not steroid-specific.

Dear Scibble that you for the reply and yes i do have to have a pneumo vaccination every three yrs .
