    Question Possible or placebo?

A few weeks ago I was in the middle of my test e cycle (500w) and I knew it when I hit the sweet spot. I went in to do chest and tri's one day and my strength was suddenly through the roof. I was benching more than I had ever benched, and the more weight I added, the more I just seemed to be able to lift it, stamina was incredible. So needless to say I was ecstatic and could not concieve how strong I was going to be by the end of my cycle if the gains kept up like that. Well they didn't.

The next 2 times I went to do chest and tri's I could barely lift what I had previously done, and one day was just noticebly weaker on the bench. Needless to say I was dissapointed as well as curious.

Yesterday I was pondering this and realized the last 2 times I benched was the day before I was to take my next injection. I also realized that today was my day to shoot and it was also chest and tri day again. So, being the noob that I am, I decided to go ahead and shoot my test yesterday evening around dinnertime. Figured that would give it all night and most of today to get in there and get going before my workout. Well I just got back from my workout and my strength was back up again. Lifted more than ever on the bench, more reps and my workout was just freakin stoked. So did the recent shot (and I made sure it was a big fat shot )really make all that difference or was it all in my head, or maybe I was tired the last times, etc?? Thoughts on this please? Tia...Nitro

Steroids are not a fast acting cell signal molecule. There is a lag time from the time of injection to the time that a steroid molecule elicits a response in the cell. Having said that steroid molecules have a long lasting effect in the cell. Lasting anywhere from hours to days to weeks to months relatively speaking of course when compared to other types of signaling molecules. Your more than likely feeling the cumulative effect of increase anabolic compounds in your system as opposed to a sudden burst of effect.

Yeah I'm thinking I was probably just tired the other days, that really messes me up.

Now, as far as prop goes, I am already starting to plan my second cycle so make me a believer

Or should I maybe go with Sust

Yeah nothing really changed that I can think of except I worked all day before my other workouts, so I was probably tired. Yesterday being sunday, I slept in and went to the gym nice and fresh. Whatever the reason there was a pretty drastic difference.

No kidding, that how it is with me too. I know everyone is different, but I wonder what is the best amount of rest, or what it takes to have more of those good days. I hate those days when its so hard just to get through the normal sets. Then there are those days that I just do not want to go at all and I have to force myself, but I'm so glad I went after its over.

There could be a number of physiological and psychological reasons why some days you feel big and strong and energetic and get big pumps, and why other days you feel the exact opposite.

Factors affecting this are - sleep, food (and the type of foods) you eat before a workout, water in your body, lack of focus, anxiety, etc
