Clenbuterol and Cytomel and Insulin sensitivity

I'm a type 1/insulin-dependent diabetic. I've been using a low-carb diet with good results and haven't really needed much insulin.

Today though I introduced Clen and Cytomel and, following the same no-carb diet, my blood sugar levels went way up.

I'm wondering if I should take additional insulin to bring my blood sugar back to normal levels (but it seems like that would defeat the purpose of low-carb dieting in the first place) or if I should just accept the high levels as a temporary side effect of the Clen and Cytomel.

Anyone have any advice/knowledge in this area? Thanks.

I am also a type-1 diabetic and when i started taking clen/t4 my blood sugar would tend to hit the 200's. You should never leave your blood sugar high because in the end it will just eat up muscle tissue.

Definitely treat the higher BS to bring it back to normal levels. Your insulin requirements are going to go up b/c Clen is a beta adrenergic agonist and increases glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis - increasing the glucose in your blood.

Is it a waste of time then for a diabetic to use Clen/Cytomel? Or does everyone experience higher levels of insulin than normal (and just not know it) while running these?
