    Exclamation Quick Injection Question

    Hey I just injected 1.5mls of Andropen into my left delt and when i pulled the pin out it shot blood all over my mirror. I guess I pulled out to quickly. Anyway...my question is did I lose the andropen in the blood that was squirted out or does it immediately disperse in the blood. This is probably a stupid question but just wanted to know anyways. Should I put an extra .5ml in to be safe?

    did you aspirate ? did you inject slowly and pause for a moment after injecting before taking the needle out?

    Sounds like you injected threw a vein and when you jerked it out the blood followed the needle out. No need to inject more. Should have been subcontanious shot right?

    no young pupil. Andropen is a steroid . Its not a sub Q shot.

    you just nicked a vain mate,happens to most of us,your lucky it stopped that quickly, i had one the other week that pumped out for quite a while b4 it stopped lol.......................

    I once did this on both quads in the same day. Talk about unlucky. That was the only time it ever happened. I was using a 22g pin though which I doubt I will ever do that again unless there is no alternative but now im stocked up with about 150 or so syringes with pins and extra pins mainly 25G of course.

    haha subqutaneous LOL. No I did aspirate and followed proper injection protocol. I guess it was just a bad inject this time. Thanks guys.

    Im not big but no. You most likely went through and past a vien. Maybe a drop or 2 came out but no need to inject more
