How long can you keep gear before it's considered unsafe to use?
Some say 2 years while others say 3, I even read a post that said 10 years which I thought was insane.

duz it say on your bottle/amp?? if its to old to read id say throw it out!!

i would use it up to a year past the expiration date. you can use it as long as you want after but it loses potency

Ok, now that I've taken my foot out of my mouth and made myself look like a horses ass I was thinking maybe 2 years if kept in a cool dry place, 3 years and that seems it might cause some health issues.

I've used a little over 3 before with good results and no problems

Same here, friends have used with GREAT results gear both oral and injectable that's been out of dat from 2-5 years.
As long as it wass kept in a cool dry dark place it will be good to go.
If anything the only problem would be it loses it potency after years and years but it certainly won't hurt you.
Just finished a bottle of dbol that went out of day in May/2006 and I have to say it was as strong as the day I bought it back in 2004. I had Excellent results so go far it.
