Hey guys why do people say try and get your bf% down ( say im 14% and someone said try n get down to 12% ) before starting your cycle - is it less water retention cos less fat cells or calories are used more efficiently or wat?

I've started cycles when I was under 9% BF and had success with cycles that I started when BF was over 25%.
I don't really think it matters much. As no matter what % you're at you are going to lose FAT and gain lean muscle. Just depends on how strict your diet is and if you eat enough protein. You have to feed your muscles to make them grow.
1. your diet sucks if youre 14% get a good diet
2. test aromatizes heavily in fat cells = higher estrogen/sides
