foot injection

my friend told me that his friend has been injecting into a vein in his foot. i told him it was the dumbest thing ive ever hurd but maybe im just to un educated...any comments?

If youre friend saw this he should have said something about how the other guy coughed up a lung. that would be a minimum of what might happen if you inject iv.

I am not saying to do it, but technically you can inject into any muscle.....this would include the feet, hands, and tongue.....

seriously wtf? I've injected someone's elses foot, but that was with dexamethasone, and it was for plantar fasciitis - the injection is very painful, even tho I tried local anest. first with lidocaine.

well either you're pulling our leg (or foot) or...your friend is yet another person you shouldn't listen to
