    Delt injection

i just injected my delt. i did aspirate and didnt see any blood yet when i was about halfway into my injection i saw a little blood in the syringe. when i pulled the needle out i didnt see any blood. If i injected into a vein woulnt i see a good amount of blood at the injection point?

You might have just knicked it a bit on the way in......

Yes, if you were in a vein, when you aspirated, there would be a good amount of blood in the syringe......The delts are the only place i have actually squirted blood.....

If you were in a vein you wouldnt be calmly talking to us wondering if you shot in a vein.

You most likely nicked the vein or went thru a vein which happens. Be careful when your injecting, if you aspirate and move the syringe around and go deeper or pull out a bit then you run the risk of hittin a vein/injecting in one. Make sure to be as steady as possible.

thats one of the reason i dont like to inject delts, i can barely reach to aspirate the needle....and i dont trust anyone else to do my injections....

Exactly. Its hard to aspirate in that position.

i dont see how. I just started doing rear delts and that seems to be a really easy spot once you get the technique down. Front delts are more difficult, i seem to always hit a nerve if i go deep enough, but with 1" they are relatively easy as well.
