Doc prescribed ANDRODERM today
2.5 mg patches. I haven't picked up the script yet but I have some questions:
does this literally mean I'll be obtaining only 2.5 mg test per day from these?
Is there pct for this?
Why would he prescribe so little test?
how can I get him to give me real test?
how long until I feel a mental difference from the test?
I'm supposed to go back in 2 weeks. Should I just not take the patches and tell him it's not working so I can get some injectibles?

If it's the same correlation as androgel it's 25 mgs of test.
I started on 5 g of gel which is 50 mgs of test. I toned up a little bit and believe it or not even lose some fat. But it didn't significantly change my test levels.
So the doctor upped my dose to 2 packs of 5 g which is 100 mgs of test. I have put on almost an inch on my arms from just the androgel but you won't "feel" anything IMO.
As the gel supposed to replicate your own testosterone production ie. slow steady release of the test through the skin.
You won't get the jolt to yur system that a 200mg shot of test will give you but you don't have to worry about the second week crash that many people experience when they get a shot every 2 weeks.
I'm going to be doing the shots but hopefully I can talk my doctor into a shot every 10 days instead of 14 dya cycle.
good luck. I would look at it this way, any extra testosterone is good. But I would tell the doctor that you haven't felt anything different and would he up your dose form 2.5 G to at least a minimum of 5 g or even better 7.5 g or even 10 G.
If you're not satisfied with the results go with the shots.
