5ar blocker after deca.. how long to wait?

since they say not to mix Deca with a 5ar blocker, let's suppose this scenerio:

I run a Test 400/500, deca 200/300 cycle. 4 weeks into the cycle my hair starts to shed, so i stop deca and start taking a 5ar blocker with the test. Now will there be a problem? From what i've read, deca stays in the system for a long time, like months, so does that mean i cant take a 5ar blocker for months or will be ok to start the next day after deca is stopped?

I would wait a few weeks, at least a couple of weeks, the decanate ester has an active life of 15 days but hormone levels are almost non existent after 10 days. The last thing you want to do is aggravate the hair loss.

Just curious why didnt you lower the test and stick with the deca? it seems like a better choice at this point

Oh i've not started this cycle as yet. It's still in the planning phase. But i want to try deca, problem is i am taking proscar. Plan is to stop it for say 20 weeks and run deca with test, then start it again. And incase hairloss occurs before 20 weeks areup, (which i am sure it iwll) then i want to stop the deca and start proscar asap, but not sure how long to wait before starting it.

I just want a medium cycle, last 3 cycles wete test 600 with eq 600. So this time i amlowering the test to 500 and bring in deca at 300 i guess? I dont mind 400 test and 300 deca also. My #1 priority is my hair so if i have to lower the test to save my hair so be it...

So would 300 Deca, 400 Test for 12 weeks make a good low key clean bulk cycle? I dont want to use too much test coz of the hair issue. I have no issue with using more deca though...

5ar blocker with deca is fine imo. Don't buy into the DHN hype, the DHT is the problem here. Continue deca, add finateride, nizoral 2%, and if there are problem area's hit em' with rogaine.

gonna need stats, goals, and age if you are looking for specific cycle advise. I think 300 is low for deca though, drop the test to hrt and add more deca, more bang for your buck per hair lost.

stats are 5'6, 172, 24.

Previous cycles were
- dbol/pormag for 4 weeks
- Test600, Var100, EQ600 & dbol 25 for 12 weeks
- Test600, EQ600, Var 80, tbol 60 for 10 weeks
- Test600, Eq 600. I stopped it after 8 weeks coz of some leg pain

goals are to bulk up but not too much, just a bit. Definitely more than what EQ offers. Plus i've never tried deca so curious.

so what's the word on the dosage? Will 2x deca & 1x test work?
