    Question?????

    I was wondering, if detection times for some compounds in drug testing are say 6 months, what are they detecting? I assume its not the hormones themselves

    I believe they are detecting the metabolites of the compound....... I could be wrong though....

    the metabolites of the drugs can be stored in fat cells as well.

    Exactly and most of the water in our bodies is made from metabolised fat cells.
