Acne after bumping up dose issue!

I have been on Test E for a apx 2 1/2 mnths now shooting a dose of 500 split every 4 days. I didnt really notice any issues with acne at this amount. I then decided to up my dose to 650 split every 4-5 days. Now im breaking out all over my shoulders, upper arms and neck! and the acne is very sore with some lasting weeks! Ive since lowerd my dose back to 500. What can i do to hel pclear this up? Ive tried proactive and other over the counter meds but nothing seems to work well. How long does it take for your body to recover and stablize after completing a cycle ?

A lot of people use large doses of vitamin B5 and claim that its very effective. Man if you are having problems now, you are not going to like pct one bit. Good luck bro...nitro

+150mgs per week is not that much of a jump. But it may of been the straw that broke the camel's back in relation to your acne problem? But I really doubt it. I think you were going to get acne no matter if you went up or stayed at 500mgs. You need to take 2-3 showers a day and have somebody (wife/gf?) help you scrub your upper back/shoulder area where oil collects and clogs up the pores. I use to get terrible acne on my upper back when I was younger or when I take deca . I did a cycle a few years ago with deca and test C where I got horrible acne all over my back down to my lower back. I cannot do deca nor do I want to ever again. I am safe with test e @ 500-750mgs/week and EQ. No acne.

Get ahold of some Nizoral shampoo. It cleared up every bit of my acne on my last cycle very quickly. You can find it online or on ebay. It's designed for hair loss treatment and will also prevent some of the hair loss that comes with AAS. Good luck man.

Good answers (especially the Nizoral 1% or 2%) just be sure to moisturize as well, but being subtractive is always better than being additive, that is to say I think I'd try bumping it back down. As Seattle said 150mgs isn't much but everyone's threshold is different...eliminating the excess MAY eliminate the problem as well. Remember though, it'll take some time for your serum levels to decline thereby reflecting the lowered dosage.
