Tonight I did my 3rd shot of Test E in the glute. I have had a little bit of an issue the last two injections. When I try to aspirate it is very hard to pull the plunger back, it basically just creates an air pocket between the oil and the plunger and snaps right back when I let it go. It's like there is something blocking the hole of the needle once it is in.
Tonight I had a big scare. I aspirated a few times until I was sure (at least I thought so) I was drawing no blood in, and finally injected. After pulling the needle out I noticed there were little fragments of blood in the plastic part at the base of the actual needle, which I had missed during injection. Also a bit strange that it didn't go back in with the oil as everything was definitely out of the syringe. It's been over an hour now and I'm not feeling any of the symptoms associated with injecting in the vein that I have read about, but that still isn't making me feel too good about things. I am using a 1.5 inch 23 gauge needle, and I'm not a skinny guy or anything. What could possibly be blocking the needle from being able to aspirate correctly? Also, is it possible I am going past the muscle and into another region of the inside of my body? If that is the case is that a wasted shot as well?
