Lump in hip after first injection of test e

I did my first injection of testosterone enanthate 4 days ago now, first day after was a little sore and swollen but has since gotten worse. 2 days ago it turned a bit red and warm but has not worsend since except when i have to wear my tool pouch on top of it, or sitting on it. I can function normally other wise.

Im wondering what went wrong???

the gear is called "test 250" w/ mfg date of 08/2006.....is it bad or expired???

Maybe we missed the muscle....my buddy who stuck me is a bit of a beginner too but seems to have done everything right according injection instructions on this site.

If anyone can give me some insite it would be greatly appreciated.

First off, delete the Lab name bro... No source talk of any kind is allowed.

Did you inject into your hip? You were on the acutal glute correct?

If it is red, swollen, and warm to the touch, its probably an infection.

Were you guys sure to be sterile?

one of two things,

you could have an infection ,

but more likely it's your body's reaction to the ba

the test e i used last time seemed that way when i injected into my delts.


if it's not infected and seems more like a rash take some benedryl

What size pin did you use?
Is this your first cycle?

Well in not sure he hit the muscle he felt for it but im not sure if he hit I have more meat on my ass that he does maybe harder to find??

The size of the pin was 0.5mm x 25mm and during injection sterility if guaranteed unless its not good to use papertowel and a bottle of alchohol vs pre packaged alchohol pads.
only thing is after i didnt cover with cotton like at the doctor when you get a shot

If it is an infection are there any home fixes my buddy also had swelling and pain after his first and not so much after this is his first cycle in about 4-6 months....
he just did more yesterday (his 5th or 6th week) and says hes getting sore again though

It's not possible to say what went wrong, if anything.
It could be poor injection technique, injection was not deep enough, injecting in the wrong spot, poor hygiene, high ba content of drug, contamination, if it's UG test e it could have a high carbolic acid content from the raw powder.

#1 Swabbed the injection spot?
#2 Swabbed the vial?
#3 Withdrew with one pin, and shot with a different pin correct?

If you did all these things, you are probably having a bad reaction to the ba.

1" is a bit short for the pin on the glute. Next time use a 1.5" pin.

OK...Yeah we did all those things... after he changed the pin he swabbed the pin and tip of vial so probably not an infection

I kinda think its something with the test itsself does it matter it comes in an all glass bottle you have to break the top off of everything on here I read talks about the rubber cap

And finally should i stick with test e or get a different lab of test e....Im not looking for huge gains or to have the bodybuilder type of body just looking to have my workout results come easier and reasonable mass gain

It could be alot of things...

1" is a pretty short pin try 1.5"
It may just be pain from a first injection...virgin muscle pain

I prefer injecting my hip as oppossed to the actual glute....Very easy to pin, and can handle a lot of fluid......

it was the back side of my hip i think it should have been more towards the side

well i was thinking the next ones in my shoulder??? but if it does this again i cant have my arms feel like this maybe i should splait into both shoulders???

Well for any future viewers who need info:
the injection site within 3 days lumped up and turned red and was very sore and slowly grew each day,...on day 5 i went to the doc...it was cellulitis or infection uner the skin,...antibiotics cleared it right up

Be sure not to use a paper towel next time and dont ever swab the pin....both are violations of aseptic technique! The pins are sterile no need to swab them and the paper towels are FAR from sterile...go get some alcohol pads at the pharmacy. Make sure when you swab the vial and your skin you go in ONE direction...not back and forth or in circles.

OMG do people really do this stuff? You will spend good money on gear but then not spend another $5 for 50 sterile pads. Talk about stepping over a $5 to pick up a nickel.

OK also I have been seeing this common theme a LOT and from what I have read and figured out I think people are injecting WAY to fast. For me doing 250mg of Test E it takes at least a full minute if not 2. Inject very slow. I have never had a lump or bruise, only VERY slight soreness, more just slight discomfort.

For me doing 250mg of Test E it takes at least a full minute if not 2.

I assume thats 1cc I don't see any reason to go that slow 10 seconds seems to work great for me with no problems.

There is going slow and then theres taking a short nap during your injection I believe your doing the latter.

this is incorrect. Proper technique taught to all medical personnel is to start at the center of where the injection is going to be and make a circular motion in and outward direction away from the injection site. So you make a circular spiral away from the injection site basically.
