Just started 1st cycle. Injection site pain?
I'm on a 10 week cycle of Test E 250/2x weekly with a pct of tamoxifen 20mg starting 14 days after last injection.
My first shot was thursday my ass has been a swollen which i figure all of this is normal just wanted to tell you whats going on and you guys verify its normal.
About a fist size red circle around injection site and a almost rock like knot about the size of a 50 cent piece under the injection site. It has been super sore until today (sunday) and seems to be getting better. My next shot it Monday(tomorrow) and really hoping its smoother sailing then the past injection.

weird, I've never had in injection site turn red, sounds like a minor infection.

it could turn into an abscess bro, keep a close eye on it
report to doc immediately if your condition worsens

what size needle? Are you sure your gear it good? OK one thing I have been preaching/asking about is how fast do/did you inject? I'm betting a lot of people who get pain is because they try to push it all in fast. Personally I inject VERY slow and have never had pain.

I agree totally with lovbyts. I did a fast injection once and OMG!!! did my ass ever hurt. It hurt to sit on a pillow for next 4 days and took 3 more before the pain had pretty much subsided... Never had a problem with slow injections and I use a 21 gauge 1.5" needle... At least 10 seconds per ml...
Try to keep the needle steady once it's in as well...Last edited by fit4ever180; 09-29-2008 at 01:01 AM.
