    Smile 1st cycle advice!?

Hi there, I'm about to get started on my 1st AS cycle and would appreciate any sincere opinions & suggestions. Here's the basic stats....

    Sex: Male
    Age: 26yrs
    Weight: 140Lbs
    Height: 6ft
Years Training: 8+years mixed fitness related, inc. 5+ years of free weights.

I admit it doesn't look it from my current weight, but I've been fitness training, including weightlifting, for over 8yrs now, albeit on-and-off, it has mostly been on. I have a real hard time getting the weight on, and keeping it on, so before you attack my diet, or my diet knowledge for that matter, which would be very silly, let's just say I know my stuff. I would just like someone's opinion on the actual cycle I'm considering, which is quite simple really...

On Cycle: 10-12 weeks of Sustanon 250 @ 250mg each week (in 1 shot) + Nolvadex @ 10mg each day to keep Gyno & water retention in check.

PCT: 3 weeks of Clomid @ 300mg on 1st day, 100mg for the rest of the 1st week of PCT, and then 50mg ed for remainder + Nolvadex @ 20mg each day throughout.

One question on my mind is whether I need the Nolvadex on-cycle, I've heard conflicting opinions, but nobody seems to be able say why they are for or against it.

    Thanks all!

You are WAY to small to begin a cycle...

And im sorry, i am gonna attack your "knowledge" of diet and your current diet...

There is no way you have hit a plateu at only 140lbs and 6ft tall...

do sust injections eod at 1/2 ml each injection (that's based on your 1ml = 250mg).. 250 a week is barely gonna tickle your muscles... there are different opinions about using nolva while on a cycle. some say play it safe and do it, others say only use it if necessary.. if you are gonna use it while on cycle, i'd cut it down to 10mg daily.. that should be more than sufficiant. also if your really worried about things like gyno, get some lethro on hand...

remember this is based on your saying u have your training and diet in check ( dont mean to be an ass but your weight to height ratio says otherwise, but who am i to judge... it's all on you) if your gonna do a cycle do it right.. run 10wks sust 250 at 125mg eod injections, i just got off a cycle with the same amount, great results!!! good luck bud, make your you take precaution with ur aas and make sure your dedicated to a good clean diet and good training...

6' 140lbs? you need to hit the diet section up bro that is a tiny weight for your height and the issue is not that you are a "hard gainer" it is that you don`t know anything about diet. Steroids are not magic.

    300mg of clomid is ridiculous...

    50/50/25/25 is fine...

Sus is best pinned ED, although EOD is acceptable...

jamyjarjr: Thanks for answering my questions mate! Appreciate it!

god_send: Thanks for at least giving me the benefit of some doubt and 'asking' about my diet before 'judging' my knowledge. I will post my diet below...

redz: Really!? Steroids aren't magic!? Cheers for the patronising assumptions, but unfortunately, ones weight does not directly equal knowledge. I thought I'd keep to the point in my post,- I didn't feel the need to go into my previous personal life circumstances, nor boast of my Sports Science qualifications or the fact I've worked as a Dietetic Support Worker in the country's largest Hospital treating malnourished patients. Yeah, oops...

Okay then, this is what's on the Menu...

Meal 1: Oats, piece of fruit, 1-2 boiled Eggs, Whey Shake

Meal 2: Wholemeal Rice & Chicken mayo (1/2 Fat mayo)

Meal 3: Pasta & 2 tins of Sardines (Yeah, loves 'em!)

Meal 4: Lean meat & Salad Sandwich & piece of fruit

PWO: Dextrose & Whey Shake. Plus Creatine, Glutamine, and BCAA.

Meal 5: Chicken/Beef/Tuna etc., Potatoes, and lots of veggies. Oh, and a large slice of Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert...kidding!! Sheesh! :-)

Meal 6: Either Cottage Cheese OR Casein Shake with UDO's Choice Oil Blend

We're looking at 3000-3200 Kcals here ppl, with a breakdown of 45% Carbs, 35% Protein, and 20% Fat. I've experimented with different breakdowns, and quantities (!), and this is what I've found (begins) to work for me, 'unassisted' of course! Hehe!

The problem is your weight though man, you are just going to get ripped on if you insist you have everything down pat. My brother is the same height and weight so i have a pretty good idea of your build. I suggest you add another meal into there and stick to that for another year or so at least.

Still need work on that diet. Watch Milos Sarcev's videos from the stickies in the diet section.

But while others haven't brought this up, let me ask... what's your workout routine like? Do you do core compounds? What's your squat? Deadlift? Bench (if you must tell me... gimme the incline bench)? Bent over rows? Do you sleep enough?

6'0" 140 lbs is way too less. I'm 6'0" 198 lbs without roids (at 17% bf, but even if I drop a lot of that fat I'll still be around 190). Not trying to patronize you, but I really doubt you have been dieting seriously and working out religiously. On and Off workouts will not cut it.
