    A question on priming

    Greetings all,

I am currently in the process of priming my body for my next cycle. I am dieting and losing a steady 2 lbs a week so all is well.

Question is, after priming, do I suddenly jump up to where I want my calories, or do I gradually ramp up to that level. Also, do people ever carry the prime through the first few weeks of the cycle when using long esters. This way, the aas will really be kicking around when the calories go up. It seems this way, you would really be able to cut the calories low the last weeks of the prime (and first couple weeks of the cycle) and get some serious cutting done without risking muscle mass.

    I appreciate and comments

If using long esters only carry to week 2, don't ramp up. It will take/work several weeks (4-6) before your body will return to its normal/un-primed state. Kind of short but hope this helps

Cool bro. Wanted to make sure I wasn't fooling myself into thinking I should start my cycle while still cutting

im always bulking. so im always doing low reps, heavy weights, 3-4 sets. but before a cycle ill bump it to 5 sets. 10-15 reps, light weights. alot of burnouts. drop sets. supersets. and keep my resting period between sets as short as possible. so that i really shock my body. dont give it alot of time to heal, i just tear my muscle up.

in reality i make my body go a bit catabolic. not for long though. (so i dont lose hard earned muscle) only a week or 2. so that when i do jump on cycle, get my diet dialed in and go back to my regular training.. my body just loves it.

works for me. but everyones different.

if it were me, id prime right up to my cycle, but id kickstart with dbol or prop, prop being tmy first choice.

you are correct, test e will need to build up to a sufficient level to reap the gains from priming, im not sure what marcus,s thread says about this as i think he uses short esters at the start.

if you only have test e then id wait 2 weeks before ramping up the callories.

put it this way i primed before my last cycle, and front loaded a high dose test e cycle and put on 14lb in 10 days although it was major water weight, it was f@@king awesome.

by the way, shot up for two weeks so just over three weeks if you count the time to come off, i kept 6lbs after a 3 week pct.

yeah do a search its a good thread, mainly aimed at seasoned bb's but hey anyone can try it.

markus3000 has a thread that has a lot of good info in it. But like helium said, his primary concern was with short cycles and thus short esters. But low frequency carb cycling was the basis of it
