switching from sus to prop

i've been reading the posts about switching from sus to prop the last few weeks of the cycle to know when to start clomid. i'm alittle confused here though. if you are taking 750mg of sus a week and then go to prop, what would the dosages be per week? every other day injections or everyday? and would you do the prop 4 weeks so the long acting esters from the sus have run out or could you go longer like 6 weeks (after 8 weeks sus)?
