Is it true that you will never get gains like you will on your first cycle?
that is a generalization. with fresh receptors, if everything is done properly, the first cycle can be the best gains considering the amount of gear used. that doesn't mean that everyone's first cycle is their best, unfortunately many people don't realize the importance of proper diet, etc at the time they run their first cycle, and that also doesn't mean that similar gains can't be made on subsequent cycles, although more gear would likely be needed.
yea and no, depends if you cycle right and diet and train correctly, but i have never got better gains then my first test/deca cycle
Also the more muscle mass you have the more it takes to get even bigger............
for example
someone who starts at 160lbs.@10%BF and gains 20lbs. while remaining at 10%BF increased muscle mass by about 12.5%
someone who starts at 290lbs.@10%BF and gains 20lbs. while remaining at 10%BF increased muscle mass by about 6.8%
although the gains in pounds are the same the added mass may not be as apparent.
Also outside of hormones alone many other functions of the human body (liver,kidneys, heart, ect.) can only produce/convert so much to provide for growth.
Everyone has their max limit for size givin your genetics. As of today the human body in general seems max out at around 300lbs. while lean. The closer you get to your max potential the harder it is to make gains either naturally or using compounds. Its kind of hard for me to put into words but hope you understand what I'm saying.
First cycle and Chinese food is not a good choice.

ha first cycle and chinese? your kidding right hahaha my first cycle was test deca for 12 weeks and i ate mcdonalds at least 2 times a day, i ate like no tommarow, i prob had 8k a day but i grew like a mother and droped body fat, I didnt know any better but now i do and when im on my diet is 100% on target.

Though obviously fodder for debate, the reason I assume the negative position on this question is because the first cycle is typically the least knowledgeable (diet-wise, training-wise, compound administration-wise, and a few other wises).
Yes, there's something to be said for virgin receptors, and though this might incite controversy, knowledgeably speaking they do up regulate to what would be considered completely renewed. I think the "First cycle is best” philosophy is spawned more from psychological perspective (the exaggerated perception, although significant of change from natty to exogenous) than actual physiological truth.
Many report the gains on a first cycle being the best they have ever had, this is due to a good base being built over the yrs, excellent diet knowledge and the body being so fresh, its like a dried sponge and soaks it all up and produces serious gains, not everyone does it that way though!!
my 1st cycle was crap,
before you use these compounds do all the research that you can,learn as much about nutrition as you can then start a cycle.
make sure you have as much knowledge as you can,it will help you big time..................
my first cycle was dbol only so it sucked royaly... 2nd was best dbol and test!
well with a general out look on life, most things experienced the first time are usually the best....i don't want any flak from this statement either :)
