How effective is drinking gear?

I've heard off so many people that you can drink gear. When I first heard it a few years ago I thought they were trying pull my p!sser. What would the effect be all round doing it this way (not that I'm going to)? Surely injecting it would be more beneficial all round and would drinking it give you stomach upset or anything? Whats your thoughts on this???????????

All I know m8 is that I have heard on quite a few boards people saying if you cant get on with winny(injectable) because of the pain then you can drink it and that any 17 alpha alkylated injectable can be drunk. I mean at the moment I'm taking Andrometh 50mg, (injecting) but wouldnt start drinking it. I just asked a question m8 and wanted to know what some of you thought without getting slated for it.

If its 17aa which almost all orals are, it can be taken orally. But if u think about drinking test e/deca coctails instead of milk and munch on homemade dbol chip cookies - it's not such a good idea.

I blame winstrol for the confusion. You can either drink or inject winny, but in my opinion it's a weak compound that dries my joints so bad it's not even worth using either way.
