Thread: two weeks off

    two weeks off

    been gyming it like a spastic. getting a bit tired and my body is a bit rusty. if i do take a short break how will this effect my gains? im on a test e cycle and right after going on dbol and prop. so i still got a good 15 weeks of intense training. will i lose muscle gains and weight if i take a small break? my motivation levels are down a bit to. training 2-3 hours a day does that lol. thanks for any advice.

    IDK about 2 weeks but....take a week off and eat some crap food and rest...when you go back you'll be stronger...at least it works for me.

    Although rest is always a good thing, two weeks is unnecessarily long for a cyclist primarily because aas increases recovery and reduces degradation. Nevertheless, you're describing classic overtraining symptoms for which a better remedy would be the examination of your total uninterrupted sleep duration and carb intake, a few days off, and shorter training sessions. Then to enhance variety try mixing in some cardio only days, and shaking up your routine with different exercises (those you usually avoid), changing the order of body parts in a session, and switching your muscle group combinations, i.e. if you typically do three day regimens of chest/tri’s, legs/shoulders, and back/bi’s then mix them up. These measures keep routines fresh and inject new life into otherwise stagnated training.

    thanks alot cuz. i actually feel like going to the gym now. ur advice is probably what i need to do. much appreciated.
