Am I OK?

I just did an injection in the ass. Once the needle was in I pulled back to make sure there was no blood and there was not. Just a normal injection that I have done lots of times, except when I pulled out I bled more than ever and now there is 1 small drop of blood left in the syringe.

Is this OK?

You probably nicked a vein on the way in. You aspirated so you were not inside of a vein when you injected. No problem.

Some pins bleed more than others. Just a part of the job, I guess. Other times, you'll get that hard lump that sticks around for days, too.
