Having children while on TRT? Help please...
Long story short, I'm 31 and have been on TRT for a year now. Me and my girlfriend want to have children in the next 3 or 4 years, so I decided to try to come off TRT with a strong PCT in hopes of making it easier to have children down the road as I heard it can be very difficult while on TRT.
After 8 weeks of PCT, my sex drive is pretty much null and void. I have tried just about everything I could to get it going, from a strong PCT (HCG , Clomid, Nolvadex , and Arimidex in a dose similar to the PCT suggested in a sticky), to other homeopathic methods all to try to naturally increase my sex drive, and none worked at all. I've been off the PCT now for a week and a half and I really have no sex drive to the point where I go limp during sex cause I'm just not that excited no matter what I do. It's beyond frustrating and embarassing and it seems my only option at this point would be to go back on TRT.
I'm just wondering down the road when we do plan to have children, will anything like HCG or something along those lines help increase my chances of having children and how much more difficult will it be to have kids while on TRT? I know most people suggest don't do TRT before having children, but I started it due to doing too many cycles in my past and in turn needing TRT to have a sex drive, and it's much worse now than it was before I started the TRT. Any help you guys could give me would be much appreciated, thanks.

Most say if you do decide to have children while being on TRT or Cycling for a long time, be prepared to have a girl.

HGH is too expensive for me right now with how tight money is, but it's definitely something that I'd like to do later down the road once I get my business started in the near future.
In the meantime, my TRT consisted of 125mg of Test Cyp per week and .25mg of Arimidex per day. I had read somewhere online that taking the arimidex can actually help make it easier to have children while on TRT.

did the doc prescribe the adex ? i would have thought that you could get away with .25mg e3d with that much test. this may be causeing more problems than it fixing.

Bro, use proviron . It increases sperm count and gives me great hard ons. Next u make sure u have enough swimmers in there and go freeze some of your sperm. Then u can go back on TRT! I was thinking about that and I cannot imagine what will happen to me ( my doses are double as what u've been on). Unless its super important for u to actually make ur wife pregnant during the sex, u can take care of everything easily. I know people were on for 6 years and had 2 kids during those years without ever comming off! Everyone is different that's true!

have you considered the fact that if you cant afford GH you may not be able to afford a child?

By the look of most of the posts of members in this thread they are talking about having kids while ON a 'regular' cycle, and not talking about years of being 'on' while cycleing.
TRT with blast runs. Being on a regular cycle will not effect having children, but for ex pro bbers who have been using crazy amounts of aas while being on for years is a diff story.
If the original poster hasn't been on trt for very long he should still be able to have kids effectively, either boy or girl.... But the norm is , if you've been on for years and years be prepared to have a girl. I do not know the scientific evidence or why, but many who have been on and decided or tried time after time to have a child mostly have girls.

well i got my testosterone checked before starting trt, and it was low. i never checked my estradiol as i didn't have the extra cash for it at the time and didn't know that could be the problem. guess after the holidays i'll get that checked out, but how much will the 125mg/week of test cyp along with .25mg arimidex affect my estradiol levels?

good to know, thanks. i'd prefer girls anyway, so that's not a problem for me, and i only did maybe 6 cycles or so when i was younger and nothing too crazy or for longer than 14 weeks without at least 12 off, so hopefully i'll be alright.
thanks to everyone else too for their feedback on this, it's much appreciated.

I think, you should check your fertility at first, man. You said, you have been on a trt for a while...+ if you have used steroids excessively previously, it might impact a spermatogenesis quite a lot. Away with an erection probs- your sperm quality (and amount) is the most important thing, before thinking about having a healthy child! There's a doc, called andrologist, who specialize direct in men probs, such as erection difficulties, testosterone levels , andropause , infertility,etc... Also checking an endocrinologue would be worth point in this case.

Bromocriptine
Elevation of dopamine levels may lead to a marked increase in sex drive, improvement in mood, alertness, learning ability and creativity. Known off-label uses for dopaminergic drugs such as Bromocriptine include sex drive enhancement and increased ejaculation volume, mood elevation, appetite suppression and fat loss.
MAybe try this. If you have swimmers it should improve drive and volume, good thing yeah?

It would work only, if he has increased prolactin level (it's sometimes the cause of decrease in testosterone levels ). T.i., this drug suppress prolactin production in pituitary gland. But if his prolactin is in normal range, there's no need to use it.

I know that it is prescribed when prolactin levels are low, hoever it causes those side effects anyways right? It is used in cutting cylces with things like clen and t4 and those sides are still evident as well. I am just unclear on whether it weill work for him. Bromocriptine has a half-life of roughly 12-14 hours so it wouldn't take long to find out. It also sometimes increases test levels, as well as gh levels.
