the gains will slowly diminish....u can slow that process by traing diet and rest being in order...but eventually u will lose it. As far as your 2nd question no you wont...as you age levels of testosterone , hgh, igf all drop ...your body will not be able to maintain this mass into your later years naturally. It wont be a stright line ...stats might go up into mid to late 20's.....but then slowly start to drop.....maybe even later than that but its inevitable they will start to drop........

if you want to keep your mass forever , you will have to stay on forever , basically TRT, your testosterone levels will always be up and high to support your muscle mass cs as jim said , as you age , your ability to keep mass will diminish . i for one am sure going on TRT when i feel that i am loosing it . TRT is not that bad. Its legal steroids man , makes you feel good , always happy always young, so its a route that i will take for sure when i reach a certain age.

You wouldn't "need" to cycle again. IMO you could keep all of what you gained post-pct as hormone levels stabilise and accustom to the new bodyweight and strength. It's during that time when the body accustoms that diet and training is top priority.
If you wished to continue cycling, most follow an on/off protocol. Time on + pct = time off before next cycle.
You can use the same, yes. Again, it's waiting for hormone levels to stabilise again before going back on.
And no, you wouldn't need to. But that is goal dependent.

your gonna fluxuate bro ..its inevitable....youll come off cycle at say 235 ...then by the time next cyle starts youll be like 225 maybe who knows.....then cycle...back up ...etc.....
(weights i used are just examples not estimates of your potential gains etc...)

yeah mav i dont know anyone no matter how good diet/training is that can keep all of what they gained.....even with highly anabolic low androgenic stacks that lend themselves to mass retention post cycle ...i like the sound of it....just dont see it being the case in the real world.....

TRT is basically lower dosages of testosterone lifetime, it goes from 100-200mgs per week.
you can start HRT at any age IF your test levels are low and you feel like crap.
for some its 25 years old , for others its 50 years old.
it depends on how much testosterone your body pumps out naturally and your personal biology and genetics.
i for one have a very high testosterone level compared to my other friends , even though i used steroids a little bit too young , i dont get tired , i am pumped all day , i only sleep 5 to 6 hours and wake up like a lion, i am very strong , can have sex 6 times a day and still not tired. my friends who NEVER even used steroids , wake up at 11 am ( i wake up at 5-6 am), have sex once and are blown away , fat , tired ....etc
its very individual , few persons have above average test levels mind you.
good luck in whatever u wanna do mate.

It would be F**king tough, but it's possible. And with the statement "keep all of what they gained", that's referring to the final net weight post-pct.
Socialising would be affected. Diet and training would need to be consistent... Go away on vacation expect a loss of strength/mass.
But again, it's definitely possible. Or look at it as an advancement by looking at things from a different perspective. A natural guy trains hard and eats well to bring his weight up to 170lbs; he runs a cycle and gains 20lbs; he loses 4lbs post-pct due to water weight. That's 16lbs net gained. He continues to eat and train hard. Even if he still lost 6lb due to lack of dedication/or simple being a half ass, he would of advanced by 10lbs... not inc strength gains.
I personally find strength gains easiest to keep. I personally never lose any strength post cycle. But as the cliche goes - everybody is different. EDIT: unless the strength gains were absolutely insane.Last edited by Maverick_J8; 01-04-2009 at 03:22 AM.

mav , you will keep the mass and strength gained IF it is still within the amount that your body can support at YOUR age , when you surpass your genetic max , and that max will get lower and lower as u age , you will almost always shrink down to the genetic max that your body can support at that specific time of your life. if you are 20 years old , of course your genetic max is much higher than someone 50 years old because of testosterone levels .
get the picture ?

hummm..... can you just do a blood test for testosterone levels to see where u at ?
i dont know how things go there where you live , i live in the middle east , i can just call the lab , a nurse will come here to my house take blood , and the results come within a day . its that easy here.
you mean you cannot do a blood test without some doctor ordering it ?

mav is right this is becoming a HRT thread , post in the HRT forum a lot of guys more experienced in this field than i am will help you .
i urge you to post the results of your tests , if no doctor is gonna help you and you dont have some serious illness that prevents you from taking testosterone , guys here can help . If i where you , i would post my test results in the HRT forum and take as much feedback as i can , from there , if everything is ok , i would self-medicate instead of feeling like shit for the rest of my life , and believe me i've been through very low , and very high test levels , so i know what it feels like .
