Thats a ton of Test. The reason why I posed this question is I have heard some pros were slamming up to 2000 a day. I find that a bit hard to believe, but you never know about some of these Nuts !!!
Im thinking about going with 2000 a week. Have done 1000 a week plenty of times and think it may be time to bump it up...

2g is a huge "bump" from 1g. personally, i think if you can't gain enough on 1g or even 1200-1500 you should eat more, and much higher than that won't help unless you are already MASSIVE
2gs a week of test?! how are you planning on breaking up those injections?!? it's test E right? so are you going to inject 1000mg x 2??
I've heard people saying they've injected 3000+ per week, of just straight Test. I find that verrrry sketchy though.
well I may go to 1500 a week and not 2000 a week. If I do go with 2000 a week. I would shoot 500 Monday, 500 wed, 500 fri , 500 sun. Than begin again 500 tue and thur and so on. Test E, correct, not Prop. The Prop would be a whole mess of injections which I don't think I could deal with... 6'3 240. I was 260 a yr ago when My receptors were fresh and I was eating like a lunatic. My face also looked like a baloon which was not a good thing.
Can I ask why you are planning on upping the dosage?! Are you just not getting good enough results from 1g of test / EW now??
Also, why don't you just stack different compounds to produce gains, without upping the dose of test dramatically??

Well, Yes, I feel my results have tailed off a 1000 Mgs a week and I have stacked with various Gear EQ, Deca etc. I want to pull off one pure mass cycle this winter and thats why I debating on upping the Test from 1g to 2g. In all honesty I will probably go with 1500 and through some Dbol in the mix. I have did enough cycles now where I feel my body is used to certain amount and its time for a change....
i dont know.. im 6' 235/240 and i still gain just fine on 750mg test and whatever.... i see no need to jump to 2 grams of test..

^^ thats true, people say that the receptors don't down regulate at all, and that they regrow faster than they can be used so its not true at all. i would think that if you aren't gaining enough, you are either too hopeful or not doing something right
What are your stats?
What is your diet?
Post both and then I bet we will find the reason.
Unless you are 6'1 250lbs 7% bf there is no reason why you would need to be up at that dosage, so two things could be your problem:
1) diet: You are not giving your body the extra calories it needs to gain more weight hence it just maintains and falcuations instead of packing on more.
2) Genetic Limit: It is possible that you are so far away from your genetic limit that the gains come in very small amounts.
my rule of thumb for upping test is 200-250mg at a time. So if want to bump from 1,000 I would go to 1,250 If your set on raising the dose. their is no reason to jump 1,000 mg at a time. jmo
infact i dont see a real reason to go beyond 500 or max 750mg of test!!if you are not getting results with it,then just run a hrt dose (250 mg) and use 19nors to do the building!that would be a better option!

this sounds like a diet issue... 1,000 mg of test a week should get you just about anything you want if you are stacking it properly, and diet is right.
what are your current stats? diet? protein intake? etc........
