Hey Guys...So I have been reading through the profiles of all the different gear and I have found some things that have confused the crap out of me. Specifically I am talking about the Test Cyp profile.
The profile states:
"It promotes sex drive, fat loss, helps with gaining and maintaining lean muscle mass and bone density and may even protect against heart disease."
http://www.steroid.com/Testosterone-Cypionate.php
Then on the very same page it states:
"Testosterone use does have some unwanted side effects that Steroid.com members should be aware of. Testosterone can convert to the female hormone estrogen (via aromatization) by the aromatize enzyme. Excessive estrogen can lead to some nasty side effects. Breast tissue growth in men (gynecomastia), fat gain and reduced fat breakdown, loss of sex drive, testicular shrinkage and water retention."
So, in short...it promotes fat loss, but a side effect is fat gain. It promotes sex drive, but a side effect is loss of sex drive.
Now, are they saying that some of the main effects of test cyp is fat loss and boosted sex drive and that POSSIBLE SIDES are fat gain and decreased sex drive? Do these POSSIBLE SIDES occur only if your estrogen levels elevate to a certain point?
I ask this because, when most people think of steroid users they think of bodybuilder types with the nice shredded/dry look and not big fatbodies and I would like to be able to talk about the subject with an educated viewpoint. Do certain types of steroids help you lose bodyfat? Wouldn't the increase of lean muscle gained from steroid use, help you lose bodyfat? I am under the impression that muscle burns fat and helps increase metabolism.
Thanks for helping me clear things up.
PS - Please don't think that I am de-valuing a strict diet and cardio regiment. I believe that strict diet and cardio are paramount to any cycle or training program, but any little help from the roids is welcome right.
