    steroid acne on face?

I've read a lot of posts about acne developing, but don't really see anyone talking about acne on their face. How common is that? Has anyone had experiences getting acne on their facef rom a cycle?

    Thanks.

To be honest i experienced NO acne on my face during cycle. And i noticed 1 or 2 SMALL blemishes every week or so on my upper back and shoulders. Nothing noticable unless you were looking for it. Showering more frequently and tanning eventually brought that down to a non-issue for me. Thats just my personal experience. Impossible to gauge how your body will react without trying. Everyone is different.

    Your buddy is retarded.

The recommend dosage for Test-e is 500mg split into two dosages of 250mgs/week every 3.5 days.

200mg/week is hrt dosage and would not be suitable for mass gains unless you are running it with another compound.

^^^ exactly. 200mg/wk is next to nothing by itself. If you want results and to see your money go into something go about a protocol exactly how Immortal lined out the 500mg/wk scenario. I didnt notice any sides at 500mg/wk except the tiny bit of acne i described, a boosted sense of confidence, well being, and the desire to **** anything that moved, muscularity and strength.

I have been reading and am prepared, but people on here even say the acne is real... so I'm concerned that it might cause irreversable damage.

True enough. Do you use Pro activ or Neutrogena Acne Wash? it has 2% salycic acid in it and seems to make the skin feel alot smoother.

You could get something prescribed from a doctor too?

Well, my acnes at bay due to the clarisonic face wash brush, some expensive non commodogenic soaps, as well as Ziana cream (isotretinoin and clindamycin) That crap is like $500 if you don't have insurance, which I do.

I had bad acne as a teen and still get blemishes w/ out the test. I ran Teste @ 500mg and my face looked like pizza. I tanned and used every otc treatment to get rid of it. I ended up at the derm. and they got me antibiotics, that worked but my face was trashed for the last 4 weeks of cycle and about another 2 weeks after.

I've always been prone to acne. My first couple of cycles killed my face, but especially chest and neck. Looked like I had hickeys on my neck everyday from the blemishes.

About my 3rd or 4th cycle I saw a dermo... started me on face creams for a couple months and then led to accutane. Took me a while to get approved for that cause you have to get your liver function approved (and mine failed cause I was on dbol at that time).

Anyways, accutane permenantly shrinks your glands on your skin so that you become increasingly less prone to acne. I now get a few here and there, but nothing like before.

Back on topic... to answer your question... yes you can have issues if you are already prone. See a dermo.

I've been on accutane 3 times, and woudl prefer to never be on it again. It doesn't seem like I should do it.

Did y'alls acne get better after the cycle?

If I were to try it and flare up real bad, could I stop and things would go back to normal?

Justin, you have every reason to be cautious. My very best friend ran some anadrol a few times when he was younger it caused such severe acne that it lasted for years after. He used accutane and after a few runs with it, he finally has it under control. Those with a predisposition to bad acne should seriously consider the risk. I'm luck because I rare get much in the way of acne from gear. If I do its just a tiny bit on my back and shoulders and occasionally chest and stomach but its so miniscule I don't worry much about it. I'm actually running 100mgs of Anadrol daily right now ontop of 750-900mgs of test a week and I only have one small pimple on my back right now. But different people may have very different results.

If you do decide to run test e I would go slightly more conservative and say can get results with 400 every five days. Be sure to use either Nolvadex or Letrozol. I use Letro and believe it to be far superior to Dex, but both should mitigate this side effect.

Also as acutane is fairly hepatoxic I would suggest making sure you give your liver at least a month or two rest before running a cycle. According to some literature I have read a stressed liver can also play a role in producing acne. Hope this helps.

I was planning on doing 400mg test e/week while running arimidex and taking B5 all at the same time.

If I started getting acne, could I stop taking it right away or do I need to commit to the whole cycle?

no. you can stop and go into your pct. your are not locked in to your commitment. Some people kill a cycle due to injuries, or infections, etc etc. You can get off at any time. but have ALL your pct items before you even begin.

I'll probably just start with like 200 then go to 400 every week after, if I start getting acne real bad I'll just stop.

Dont do that. By creating inconsistant blood levels (even at an early phase) you have a higher likelihood of increasing negative sides ie. acne. Stay steady and constant.

Do remeber though if your on test e and start freaking out about the acne and stop, that it is still gonna get worse because of the longer ester. It wont stop the day you stop

I agree. I'll give it a shot and if it gets ridiculous I'll just stop, I might run an antibiotic with it.

I used to get real bad acne when I was younger so I thought I was prone to it to. I started going to the tanning bed a couple of times a week during my cycle and I was acne free for the most part. Just my .02 Good luck bro

Being 37 and on my first cycle I have only seen it on my upper back. Tanning has really helped with it though. I tan 3 days a week and it keeps it under control. Anything less then 3 days and it starts showing up again.
