47 yo Male - Healthy - 1st Time - Need Advice
Hi...new here ad to steroids . Powerlifter/bodybuilder for over 20 years; 3 year layoff due to fractured knee; back in the gym for over 1 year with intense workouts.
Stats:
5'10"
215
18% Body-fat
Bloodwork (recent physical) all good
Consume approx 3000 cals per day; whey protein and a few other supplements.
Interested in trying light cycle for 10 weeks. Getting mixed info from various friends, fellow bb, and others. Need some excellent advice about how to begin.

First things first i would reduce your bf by 4/5% lol..

next would be to read EVERYTHING in these forums you can for about 2-6 months and soak up a ton of knowledge.. Then we would be happy to help you put together a proper adn safe first cycle

I have been reading and was thinking that D-Ball plus some anti-estrogen for the last 4 weeks might do me well.

Welcome My Brother, I am 40 years old and ruffly the same stats as you posted, I did a test only cycle for my first and it was ****in awesome, I have just started my 2nd cycle of test and im only doing 250 mg a week and the results are amazing, I think when we get to be our age our naturaul test levels disapear and anything will help when we eat right and work hard, I have learned that less is more. steroids saved my life, test only.

Welcome dude. I am 53 so we are brothers :-) Forget the dbol only, bad idea dude. First cycle for you should be 12 weeks of Test E at 500mg a week and thats it.

Welcome to the board!
My father is going to be 48 - he's on HRT now. For the past 5 years he's ran testosterone from 250-1000mg's a week along with a bunch of other stuff. Being on HRT and only running 250mg's/wk of test Cyp - he feels better than ever and can still put on size.
I agree with everyone else - read up - learn as much as you can - get to know proper PCT and run a test only cycle your first time. You should love the results...... especially at 47!

Question! for a beginners cycle of 25mg per day of d/bol for 6 wks... why is this such a bad idea?? Just wondering

Welcome fellow florida guy,
you will need anti estrogen and you might need them during your cycle but you might not.....IMO your fist cycle is you most important because you are going to make you most gains. your BF% is way to high the muscle you put on will be hidden behind the fat. you first cycle should be test-e or test-c. I love test e if you do d-bal 30 to 50mg ed it need to be for the first four weeks while you are waiting for the test to kick in...test e can kick in as soon as ten days but could take longer. you really need to plan out your cycle and not get into a rush because that is when mistakes are made. good luck...

Thx everyone for their info...I've been reading quite a bit as well. I don't want to wait as I have reached some plateaus in my workouts and have tried the normal methods to overcome, i.e. take a week off, mix the workout routines, eat more, etc.
I am definitely ready for this and will add some cardio to shed some of the bf weight....I did so this past summer (25lbs) but lost strength while dieting/cardio and frankly, I want my strength.
I'm going to go forward with test for a 10 week cycle and have something on hand to combat the hormone issue.
Any advice is always appreciated...
