First Injection...No Go, needle too small?

Hey guys,

so I'm trying to inject 1cc of test enan. Pinning is no problem, but I aspirate, nothing comes out. So I begin injecting and there is a lot of resistance. I'm using a 25 Gauge 1 1/2" and I think that is the problem.

I had the needle in there a solid 3 minutes and maybe got about .1cc in, pushing as hard as I could on the syringe. I tried pushing everything in further into the glutes, but I think it went too far cuz I felt a sharp pain. (nerve) I might just retry later today or try to get a bigger gauge. Or I can try a new needle and just keep it in there for 5 minutes +


Any tips or suggestions? :/

Gear should pass through a 25ga, there may be a bit of resistance if the oil is thick, but I've never had any that wouldn't pass at all. You could heat the gear and see if that helps.

Dude 25G is fine. The syringe may be faulty, its happened to me once. Have you tried the other glute ? And with 25G you do have to push down reasonably hard on the plunger

something doesnt sound right... i have (at times) have had to use a diabetics needle and they are real small... and i was able to do it... is it possible that you some how got the needle blocked with something?

Try and pumping the syringe before you use it, getting it nice and loose..

ill give it another shot in the other glute.

I will warm up the test and see if that helps. I pressed down on the syringe slowly in the open air, and it slowly comes out

Except when its in there, it feels like im pushing against a wall.


Should I press hard against the layer of fat, or hold in the needle in place to not allow it to go in further?

u prb just not pushin hard enough,, hold the syringe with one hand an push with the other,, it will go

try heating the oil by running hot water on the syringe while the oil is in it. obviously dont let the water hit the needle

You can put it back in to the vial if you need to it will be fine. Its is quite hard to push it in dude especially with a 25g you need to put some pressure on it. half a cc should take about 15 seconds

Warmed up the test, pumped the syringe. Calmed down, was nice and patient, and watched it go in real slow.

I just wasn't prepared for how hard i'd actually have to push. Looks like I'm going to build some finger strength.

This has happened to me a few times. One package of syringes were bent slightly during shipment. Each injection I had to make sure I "unbent" them slightly and pumped the syringe to make sure I was good to go. Freaked me out at first though - until I figured out what it was...

Your quality of syringe must be better than mine. I pump it a couple of times before i put anything in it..

This is why i prefer 23 ga. No difficultly. Even if i dont use a seperate needle to draw (an 18ga if i do use a seperate) it may take slightly longer to draw but shit idc. i like spending time with my gear .

It really depends what you're injecting though. (which ester, etc)

With test - E, I only felt pain on my 1st injection... since then I have not been sore whatsoever. More often then not, I completely forget that I injected earlier that morning.

But with test e the first time i ran it i was progressively more sore believe it or not. Good injection protocol and hygiene observed through-out. no idea why!

What syringe brand are you use?

I use Tuermo or whatever the hell its called. Shit is amazing thought it takes forever to draw the shit into the syringe with a 23 gauge 1.5 inch needle.
