sitting for sure. straighten leg and rest foot on something to keep the quad as relaxed as possible. the thought of shooting while the quad is bearing weight makes me shiver.

I sit on a towel on the edge of my bath tub right after a hot shower...it helps me keep my legs relaxed. I use a 23 G 1.5". My quads usually hurts less than any other muscle in regards to post injection pain.

    Good luck!!

i always sit legs striaght out on my bed. I found my bed supports all of my legs the best and relaxes my quad the most. I've hit nerves a dozen time and had my leg twitch like it was having seizures lol thank god i was sitting not standing.

not necessarily, we still get threads asking if the muscle should be relaxed or flexed (ouch) when injecting, and you would be surprised how many noobs say to inject while flexed.

I've only done it sitting..... I was good about not hitting a nerve the 1st 3 or 4 times..... the 10 times after that..... i hit one everytime. I've since given up thigh injections LOL. I used to sit ont he edge of the tub or on the toilet lol...... i think my leg was bent and not straight out.
