Need Professional advice on Anavar-please help

    hi

i have never posted here although i have lurked for a year or so finally getting the nerve to post, i know how hard some people are on noobs but i would rather post and get flamed than get myself injured or hurt or sick so here it goes.

    i am 40 years old...
    i am 6 feet
    240 lbs..
i have worked out for 22 years, since i was 18...
    always been athletic..
always been in shape, i was always solid around 220 or so.
2 and a a half years ago i tore my left bicep during a softball game..go figure.

i then went on to gain a lot weight, perfect timing heading towards 40
tipped in at a very slobby 277...
started training again when i healed
i have lost 37 pounds the past year and a half..

i have now plateau at 240..still not solid around the mid area and some what loose in certain areas..
i have never taken any steroid ever(although some would say the old Hot Stuff back in the 90's was pretty close)

i love my size...i feel big enough.
i want to cut up and i need a little extra something to help....

    work out 4 days a a week..light weight a lot of reps..example incline bench 185lbs 12 to 16 reps for 3 to 4 sets..a far cry from my 310 for sets of 4..
i do the oliptical 4 days a week for 40 minutes..

here i have my issue...i have been researching anavar ...
sounds like a good steroid for cutting but i have some questions ..i have looked but find conflicting stories.

what is an anavar cycle? i have seen 20m ed for 6 weeks...i have seen 50 a day for 12 i have seen 20 for 8..i have seen 2 weeks on 1 week off..

    i was planing on doing a 10 week cycle of 10 m a day=20mg a day..
is this safe? do i take it with meals?

second do i need to do PCT after.

third i have heard about some side affects...stomache issues loss of libido and dizziness..

i apologize ahead if this posts bothers people, just my first time and dont want to get sick

i will continue to search the forums and get research but hopefully some of the more tenured people on here could point me in the right direction...

thanks for reading and any info would help me...

diet and cardio will cut you up not steroids . you can look into clen and t-3 to help but diet and cardio will be the determining factor
source checks- 200 posts and 6 month membership min. entirely within my discretion

i understand but steroids will not cut you up and burn your fat. its unsafe to use them at your bf% and no matter how old you are you will continue losing fat with diet and cardio. there is no such thing as plateau when were talking about losing weight. if you diet and do cardio ed you will burn all your bf off. i know alot of bodybuilders over 40 so belive me it can be done.

PT thanks again for giving me good sound advice....i was under the impression that anavar is a mild steroid with little side affects that would help me "get ahead" of where i am at now.

i will forever continue to work hard at the gym. i guess i am looking for a little help..

am i off base thinking anavar WOULD work for me?

Thanks again PT...bare with me...still looking on this site.

i should add my BF is around 21%.

I am hoping for more board leaders to weigh in on Anavar . i have been looking for sound debate and info surrounding this steroid but it usually ends in the first 10 posts and with little info given. i took this info right from this sight so i have been doing some research:

    """Anavar and Fat Loss

Now here´s some interesting stuff for anyone interested primarily in the fat loss properties of this stuff: Anavar may be what we´d call a "fat-burning steroid". Abdominal and visceral fat were both reduced in one study when subjects in the low/normal natural testosterone range used anavar (4). In another study, appendicular, total, and trunk fat were all reduced with a relatively small dose of 20mgs/day (8), and no exercise. In addition, weight gained with ´var may be nearly permanent too. It might not be much, but you´ll stand a good chance of keeping most of it. In one study, subjects maintained their weight (re)gains from anavar for at least 6 months after cessation (2)! Concomitantly, in another study, Twelve weeks after discontinuing oxandrolone, 83% of the reductions in total, trunk, and extremity fat were also sustained (8)! If you´re regaining weight, Anavar will give you nearly permanent gains, and if you are trying to lose fat (and you keep your diet in check), the fat lost with Anavar is basically looks to be nearly permanent. """

This is what i am looking for, i think, again i am new to the steroid field and any info or opinions with solid remarks would help me out..

is my BF to high like PT said?
    how long is a cycle?
do i take it with food.
    side affects?
    PCT?

sorry for being the noob with these questions i just dont want to get sick or hurt myself by doing it wrong.

    any info is appreciated..
