most use 23g,
you can go with 25g if you can find inch and a half

23-25g,,,,,1.5" length for glutes.

You can use any gauge you want, like T mos said, just use 1.5in. I think the smaller gauge is better cause you inject slower and have less chance of building scar tissue.

I've used a 27gauge to inject Sustaplex into Bi's and forearms. Takes a while to draw

usually use 25G x 1" though

If your gear is thin you could do a 27.I believe without a problem.
