why nobody reccomends SERMS for propecia
everyone tells me to take an AI, like arimadex or letro or something. but if propecia turns into estrogen, and nolvadex lowers that heavily, shouldnt nolvadex also be sufficient for preventing gyno on finasteride/propecia? i only ask cuz after many forum searches i have not once seen a recomendation but many for arimadex or letro. i just ordered the nolva as a pct for my test, but now that i just got a script of propecia, i gotta worry cuz it seems like every damn thing out there can cause gyno,.... take in mind im very prone to it --- thanks

An AI will stop testosterone from converting into estrogen, so you will not have excess estrogen in your body. A SERM acts in a completely different way, it allows testosterone to convert into estrogen, but blocks estrogen receptors so that estrogen will not have almost any effect.
An AI is always preferable as it kills the problem in its root and not just avoid its effects.
